Chainmail Glove/Sleeve/Hand-Thingy

I had a phase. Hesitantly classed as Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder: I was pretty much non-stop making chain mail. Is that normal? Does anyone know? Has anyone else suffered (well, actually, I enjoyed it) from that? By the way, the lacy technique on the edges I came up with myself
